2017 - Day 104/261 - Friday...

Every year I make some stoopid remark about this being Good Friday, and that almost all Fridays are pretty Good Fridays, or some other such thing, so I decided that for this day I was going to avoid making any such remark about it being a Good Friday, although, as days go, I would generally take a Good Friday over a Good Monday any day of the week. It is still a relatively cloudy day, culminating what was a particularly cloudy week, and the clouds are really not supposed to about themselves until something later next week. Slight chances of rain over the weekend, 50/50 chance on Monday, and then tapering off over the next several days. The space station is supposed to be passing overhead tonight (9:23 p/m. if you are in the area), but the clouds are also predicted to be in the way. We are going to watch the Sam Houston special (Part II of III we think) tonight on PBS. Tune in at 8 (9 Eastern) if you have the chance, our friend (and Sam Houston Author Jim Haley) is highlighted several times throughout the documentary. We expect Part III will be on next week.
