2017 - Day 115/250 - Tuesday...
I took this photo over the fence into our neighbor's pasture. Interestingly, cattle do not really care for wild flowers, or they got the memo that it is a crime to pick them, or something like that. Anyway, it is interesting to see the paths that the cattle take AROUND the wild flowers. These were particularly pretty today, so there you go.
The truck is all fixed, all better, all repaired and just over $200. I guess there is not too much of a mark-up removing snake skins from a fuse box in a farm truck. In addition to tightening the battery cables, ordering and replacing a relay (of some kind) I sprang for a new air filter. She (the truck not the girl dogs) runs just like the day we bought her about nine years ago. In nine years, we have put less than 30,000 miles on it. She mainly just sits there. The girl cat (Barney) is probably happy that she is back because that is her perch to spy on things that are going on around the property. Last year we had a squirrels nest in the engine compartment, and we did not run the truck until the squirrels were all gone. No need to disrupt the mama and the baby squirrels if you don't really need to.
Otherwise, another mostly good day. It is getting warmer and more humid, summer will be upon us soon, and that will renew our complaining mechanisms. I cannot wait for that!
Deeds, Actions, Changes, WILD FLOWERS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
