The sage is blooming up by the road, so that is a good sign. This particular sage is really stubborn, and the other sage around the house will bloom at a heavy dew, but this one is not gonna bloom unless there is rain on the horizon. Or maybe at least the next day or two. Sage blooming is Mother Nature's way of saying it is gonna rain, or, more accurately, IT'S GONNA RAIN, DUMBASS! I like sage, it's kind of sarcastic and in your face, but if it is blooming, you can bet there will be some rain.On that note, the weather prognosticators are giving us a good chance of rain starting tomorrow and for the next week or so...forecasting over 2 inches at the edge of nowhere...AND...a week from now they are forecasting our first cold front of the season, with high temperatures expected to be in the mid 60s to 70s and lows in the 40s. Holy Crap Batman! Even I am surprised, because we usually do not see cold fronts here until the second or third week of October.
