2014 - Day 285/80 - Sunday...

Okay, in the last 72 hours or so we have received 2.53" of rain and there is more forecast for the early morning hours tomorrow.  This photo of Barney the cat was taken this morning before the most recent round of showers, during which we received 0.654 inches.  As must as it is a terrible thing to say, the folks around here are not that happy with the precipitation, because it has caused the fields to be muddy and washed away the terracing that is important once the crops are in.  I expect they will overcome, but it is ironic that things work out the way they do.

So, it was mostly a grey and cloudy day, but the sun is actually peeking through as I write this.  I got the chicken coop cleaned (we only got four eggs today), got the truck inspected and the oil changed, got my flu shot for the year, went to Home Depot and then Jody and I had dinner (dupper) in Georgetown.  We finally got a chance to see the weather forecast on tv.

Deeds, Actions, Changes, RAIN, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
