2017 - Day 142/223 - Monday...

We planted several varieties of grapes about three or four years ago, and they all did pretty well, considering. We have about six different kinds growing along the fence around the dog yard and two others growing up over the gazebo. We have never had good sweet grapes. They are always bitter. The dogs seem to like them, even though they are nowhere near being ripe. The look nice and are getting bigger, but I think they are still a month or more away from ripening. But again, the dogs do not seem to mind a bit. It rained overnight, and we are supposed to (maybe) get a little bit more rain through the evening, but I don't really think we will get much more. There is always the Memorial Day weekend to look forward to, we very often get rain (frequently really heavy rain) over Memorial Day. The sun has not shined a bit today, and that just kept the temperatures (and the morale) down below average. I would sit and type a bit more, but Antiques Roadshow is about to start, and I have to go. Deeds, Actions, Changes, GRAPES, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
