2017 - Day 149/216 - Memorial Day...

Happy Memorial Day to everyone! I got everything on my list scratched off except one item, and I am about 15% complete with that. It is taking a little bit longer than I expected, and it is causing me to glisten profusely! It is already hot and very humid, and we have not received enough rain with this last round of storms. Everywhere around us got rain, be not us...okay, we did get 0.19" overnight, but in the grand scheme of things, we need more. Much more. The girls are doing well, and we wonder if Callie was ever let outside by her former owners. It seems she does not really know what to do when we take her outside. She frequently just stands there and looks forlorn. A good thing is, in our efforts to train them to go outside, when she finished her dinner tonight, Jody said she went right to the door to go out. She didn't do anything (I don't think either one of then did), but at least she knew it was time to go out. Lexie is the white girl (kind of looks a lot like a tube) and Callie is the grey girl.

Back to work tomorrow...the last week of one month and the first week of another month. Deeds, Actions, Changes, GIRLS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
