Okay, we are one hundred days into this year already. Holy Crap! Jody, Mike and I went into Georgetown for dinner tonight. Jody and I both had Shrimp and Grits. My grits were more like a puree than gritty grits, something missing in the experience. BUT, that is the way to go. It was good but no prize winner in my opinion.It rained for about a half day in Austin, but there was not a drop to be had here on the edge of nowhere. Early in the afternoon, the sun came out in Austin and it was a beautiful day. There was a front that came through, so the temperatures were in the 70s, and the humidity has been greatly reduced. They are still prognosticating rain tomorrow and Sunday, but we will just have to wait and see.
