It was a really long day today; first meeting was at 7:30 a.m., and I just made it back, so that makes it about a 14 hour day. Lots of interesting information, lots of interactions with colleagues that are much smarter than I am, and lots of networking. The day started off with an Awards Breakfast, and then back to back meetings until after 5. Then a few minutes to chill, then a reception at the new library in Austin. The new library was about a decade in the making, about $140M in construction costs, but in the end, I think it is a beautiful facility. And, it provides some revenues as an event space. Everybody wins. This is the view from the roof top of the library. Wonderful!Tomorrow I get to be a little bit lazy and sleep a little bit longer. The day will begin a little bit later, but will go on until about 8 or 9 o'clock, so it will be a long day.
