Volume 16 - Day 90/276, 2024 - Saturday

Well, even though it is a weekend day, it was kind of busy. We had a nice walk this morning, me, Paul and Richard. Once I got home, I fed the girls, and went down for a quick nap. Not sure if I got a nap in or not, but before long, it was time for estate sales. There were three sales, and Marian, Pam and Diane joined me. All together, I think I spent almost $63. My haul included a pair of monkey bookends, THREE clocks, and a bell. I think that's it. So far, the clocks are running, so that is a good thing. I can't really complain at the expense or the fact that they may or may not chime, and I am happy with the haul. Everybody bought something. Before we took off for the estate sales, Jimmie and Linda and Wells (their grandson) came down and Wells brought me TWO packages of Hippie Crack. I love that stuff, it's granola that they get at a bakery outside Washington, D.C. Shortly after I got home from the estate sales, it was time to take the girls to the beautiful parlor. After that, I went to Golden Chick in Georgetown, where I had twenty fried shrimp. Not the best, not the worst, but it is just a testament to me being a victim of Madison Avenue. If it looks good in the tv commercial, I have to have it. After that, I made a couple other stops, and then went down for another nap. Interestingly, I woke up from the nap, and thought I had left the girls outside, before I remembered that they were at the beautiful parlor. I got the girls, and then later, I went with Jimmie, Linda and Wells to get ice cream. Time to call it a day!
