It is interesting that, when you get used to a clock being there on the wall in a (semi) public place, you expect it to be there ALWAYS, and it kind of throws you off when you continue to want to check the time and the clock is gone. There was a clock there, and then it broke. Another clock was ordered, and it did not work when it arrived. A replacement was sent, and it was missing some parts. The eagerly anticipated arrival of the fourth clock is pending. REALLY? Not to be uber critical or anything, but how difficult is it to buy a clock? I'm just sayin...Today was a day (okay, a half-day) full of meetings AND it was raining most of the day. We recorded 2.59" of rain for the 24 hour period, and we have received over another inch since that reading. Great. At last count the lake levels had even been rising, so that is positive. Lots of meetings, lots of planning, and the scary thing is I am even putting events and meetings on my calendar for 2014. HOLY CRAP!
