We have not seen the grey cat in a while (and by saying that the grey cat is a shoe-in to show up this evening when I put the food out). For a while they were alternating visits to the back porch, but now for the last several days it has been all Barney all the time. I need to do a little bit of research to see when Barney showed up on the scene, but it seems like it may be over a year. Not sure.We went to lunch this afternoon to Buchanan Dam and visited with Candy, Mike, and Candy's son, his wife and their two kids. Very nice out at the lake, and nice to see water where there has not been water in several years. On the way back, we stopped at the rusty crap place in Marble Falls, and I got (my Christmas gift from Jody) a whirly-gig that is still in the back of the truck because the wind is blowing so hard I do not want it to be destroyed. I also took the flags down this morning, and laid all the other spinners on the ground so they do not become projectiles. Having done that is a pretty good indicator that we will not have any bad storms. We have had about seven-hundredths of an inch of rain so far, and they are forecasting about a half inch more. Maybe more, maybe less.
