2017 - Day 297/68 - Tuesday...

This is a photo of the Five-Out-Of-Six-Pack. The sixth was only partially in the photo, so I just cropped her out. The biggest chicken in the group is becoming more and more of a rooster every day. Assuming it is a he, you can see he is bigger than the others by at least 25%, and his tail feathers are becoming more and more pronounced. Also, he has more of the darker feathers around his neck than the other girls. Males in most species are the fancier of the sexes, and that is certainly true of chickens. I suspect one of the other chickens (a member of the Four-Pack) is also a rooster, and we will just have to wait and see how this all turns out. I have continued to find eggs outside the garage in the tall grasses, so it is obvious to us that one of the new girls is already laying. Early and the eggs are small, but they have begun to lay.

I guided a class of Brokers today at our South office, and that was fun. A dedicated and competent group learning more about their responsibilities to the public as Designated Brokers. Excellent!

Deeds, Actions, Changes, BOY CHICKENS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
