Chick Watch: No need to call HR, I am talking about a different kind of chick. Just one egg still under the Pancake, and I probably should have left the other eggs under her on Saturday. I did not have the bright idea of seeing if we could get some eggs to hatch until Sunday, so we shall see what happens.It was a lovely day in central Texas, as you can tell by this sunrise photo. The weather over the weekend was nice, warming up a little bit each day. Today's high was somewhere in the mid-70s, and we are expecting a bit of a cold front overnight, but nothing extreme. We are all kind of winding down to the Holidays, so all is calm (don't get me off on a tangent), and chestnuts are roasting on an open fire. It looks like we will be expecting a relatively silent night, except for the front, and I am not thinking anyone will be complaining to their Baby it's cold outside. The cold front will be coming on a midnight clear, which will be good news for the expected meteor shower Wednesday. Luckily, we will both be home for Christmas, and since we are done with our decorating, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Ugh.
