2017 - Day 167/198 - Friday...

It's Friday, and it's the fan drive day! Every year, Family Eldercare in Austin does a fundraiser to get fans to families that are on fixed incomes or just need a little bit of breeze in their homes. The Austin Board of REALTORS® Foundation has been a major participant in that effort for many years, and today was the day that we went to Threadgill's and presented them with a check and a bunch of fans. Always a great event, and lots of fun and recognition for a dedicated bunch of volunteers across the city. Good job everyone! And as long as we were at Threadgill's, we might as well have lunch! I have been on a grilled cheese kick. There was not grilled cheese on the menu, so I had the grilled ham and cheese with tomato, hold the ham please and hold the tomato. It worked perfectly! It was also a pretty busy real estate day, and got home about 5 to visit with our friend Mike from Florida, had a nice dinner and did some watering outside. I think tomorrow will be spent working on a semi-automated watering plan for all the landscaping that we have had done. We expected the high temperature to hit 100 degrees today, and while it did not do that officially, it was hot as the hinges of hell. And it is supposed tone hotter tomorrow. I have to get the watering thing done. Deeds, Actions, Changes, FAN DRIVE, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
