2018 - Day 146/219 - Saturday...1606...

Today was a great day. JoeMac and I have done LOTS of things that take at least three hands, and so that has really been good. We got one of the weather stations back up and running (not really as easy as that sounds, since it is about 15 feet up in the air), got a couple hose racks attached to the front barn, and a bunch of this and that. About 10 o'clock this morning, Carolyn, JoeMac and I went in to Georgetown where we proceeded to clean out the Home Depot. New walk-behind mower (still in the box, we've been busy) a couple more hoses, some this and that. Then we went to the Georgetown Farm Supply where we bought a dozen chicks. By the time we got them home and Partially settled into their new surroundings, one of them was already about to croak. These chicks are any where from three to five days old, so they start out really fragile. A little bit of water from a syringe and it is still alive, but still unsteady. If it makes it through the night, it will be alright, but I think it is touch-and-go.

Deeds, Actions, Changes, SICK CHICK, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
