We spent a nice quiet day on the edge of nowhere. Took the dog boy for a walk this morning and then for a ride. Then we went down for naps before going to dinner at our friends Michael and Lynda's. We did make it home before dark, and I cleaned the ash out of the wood stove. Working on getting a fire started right now.
Three blue eggs and one brown egg for today. It has been another cold and rainy day with the accompanying grey skies. I cannot blame the chickens for not laying, it is pretty miserable weather outside. This is a photo of the chicken we strongly suspect of being a rooster. We have been pretty lucky in getting only hens, so eleven of the twelve chicks we got are hens, and we are still not too sure of this one, but it is bigger than the rest, and there is a pretty good chance he will be the cock of the walk.Deeds, Actions, Changes, BOY CHICKENS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
