2014 - Day 212/153 - Thursday...

Titz & Myths Part Three:  Otto Titzling and his salesman partner Hans Delving came up with many innovations in breast support.  After Swedish Olympic runner Lois Lung kicked herself in the breast while going over a hurdle, injuring herself and costing her the gold medal, Otto invented an inflatable bra designed for female athletes.  A customer once complained that her bra had been punctured when her boyfriend was pinning on a corsage, Delving sent her a letter of condolence along with a copy of Gone With the Wind.

They next introduced a foundation garment with a change purse built into the cleavage.  Then there was a front fastening model that Delving christened the "Sesame" because it was so easy to open.  That model fell flat, though, because it looked strange hanging on a laundry line, and women considered it to be bad advertising for their assets.  Otto also developed a special chest halter specifically designed for female trapeze artists who spent a lot of time hanging upside down.

Tune in tomorrow for the conclusion of this series, and I hop you have a Maidenform dream tonight!

So, Thursday it is.  All day spent in the office, concluding one months and doing all the paper work, and getting ready for the next month which begins tomorrow!  Always interesting to begin a new month at the end of a week.  Things tend to get lost over the weekend.  I prefer a month that begins at the beginning of the week.

Deeds, Actions, Changes, MAIDENFORMS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
