2018 - Day 279/86...Saturday...1589...

This poor pitiful little white dog (Lexie) is just starving to death. She is not sure she can hold out until dinner. She hasn't eaten since breakfast. Her dinner time (along with her sister Callie) is 6:30 or so, but she starts become feeble about 5 o'clock. She was born WAY too late. She should have been in Vaudeville, she would have been a smash hit. Paw to forehead, the whole bit.

Saturday, my day of rest. I did get a nap in the morning, went with Jody to take the girls for a ride, then we went in to Georgetown to get the truck inspected. While we were waiting, it rained and then it stopped. It POURED DOWN RAIN and then it stopped. It sprinkled rain, and then it stopped. REPEAT. It was really interesting. When we left the inspection place, we went down the road less than half a mile, and it had not rained a drop there.

Interesting.

When we got home we had about a tenth of an inch in the gauge, but that was from earlier in the morning. Nothing else as of now.

Deeds, Actions, Changes, STARVING DOG, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
