What a day, what a day, what a day! Action packed, full of fun and information. The day started with breakfast at Lost Pines in Bastrop, the a meeting for an hour or two, then a TREPAC Alumni Training presentation. TREPAC Alumni are hot to help and participate, and we got a bunch of them together and got them all fired up (again) about TREPAC and the Corporate Ally program. It does not take a whole lot to fire these folks up, and they are all on board to make it happen. The alumni are such valuable contributors to TREPAC, and they have such a wealth of information and history that has (until recently) been under-utilized. I think enlisting these TREPAC Alumni is going to breath a fresh strength of involvement into the program, and I am tickled to death to be in on the ground floor. You all just need to hide and watch what is about to happen. The photo is that of Texas State Representative Bill Flores of the Texas 17th District, speaking to the group about the importance of TREPAC. Very interesting and very knowledgeable,
After that, I drove to Bryan/College Station for a Major Investor function in an absolutely beautiful home of last year's BCS Board of Directors. Exquisitely done, everyone was very gracious and hospitable - even when I backed into one of the sconces in the foyer and caused a candle catastrophe. It was indeed an unfortunate incident, but everyone (except me) was very kind and gracious, and made little of it. Did I mention how gracious they were?
Tomorrow will NOT be quite as busy, but it will be busy, beginning at 8:30 in the morning, which means I need to get up from here and get some sleep.
Deeds, Actions, Changes, BUSYBUSYBUSY, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
