2018 - Day 339/26 - Wednesday...1653...

This was fun. Sunday night when I stayed in Austin, a bunch of us walked from the restaurant where we had dinner a few blocks (four) to the Capitol to see the Christmas Tree. It is kind of a miracle that we all survived. Between the crazy people on the scooters to all of us straddling the yellow line in the middle of Congress Avenue (to take fabulous photos), we made quite a scene. We did not really make a SCENE, the SCENE was US being seen by strollers, drivers and (perhaps) the occasional law enforcement official. Bottom line, it was a lot of fun, and it is comforting to know that there are still cities in this country that are clam and quiet enough that activities like this go largely unnoticed and accepted as the norm. For all its' faults, Austin is still a nice place to live, and we all do our best to Keep Austin WEIRD! You're welcome!

I presented a class today to about twenty (mostly) newly licensed agents. The subject was property management, and it was a fun class. The class will total 30 hours (another full day tomorrow and two more full days next week). I feel kinda sorry for the attendees because I can not stand to hear myself talk for eight hours, and I can only imagine what it is like to have to listen to me!

Not that anyone really does, but that is for another journal entry.

Deeds, Actions, Changes, WEIRDNESS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
