We pretty much stayed around the house all day long. It was cold (in the 40s), grey and dribbly. I did manage to keep the fire going and took a couple naps and got the chicken coop cleaned. About 4 o'clock this afternoon, we piled up in the car and headed in to Austin. We had dinner at Kerby Lane on Kerby Lane, and then went to check out the lights on 37th Street. Not as great as they were years ago, but it is post-Christmas, so maybe some of the residents got OUT of the spirit. At any rate, it was gun, particularly the 'Joy to the Weird' lights.Tomorrow is the last day of 2018, and I have been working on my year-end post already. Stay tuned, you are about to find out just how crazy I am.
