2012 - Day 136/228 - Thursday...

Another LONG and really REWARDING day.

A very early start (7AM) with a meeting about how the Rally for Home Ownership will work. We loaded up on buses, made it to the Washington Monument, had a Rally (with about 13,000 REALTOR participants) and went on about our day. This is a photo of a group of us from the Austin Board, and it was great.

I went on to participate in two very good Hill Visits; the first with Congressman John Carter's office (the Congressman was actually on the Floor voting on the Flood Insurance extension), and the second with Congressman Michael McCaul. Both meetings were very productive and both of the elected officials have always been very supportive of REALTOR concerns and property owner rights.

Another day of meetings tomorrow, and then I will head back home on Saturday.

Deeds, Actions, Changes, VISITS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
