This has been a really , REALLY busy day. Non-stop from daylight to (after) dark. REALLY.
There is so much going on here, I cannot tell you even a little bit of it. Wall-to-wall business. So much to absorb and comprehend.
On a more personal note, Jody says we have had over an inch of rain today, and Konrad (the owner of Round Rock Honey Company) brought us 21 pounds of honey that he extracted from one of our hives. It seems like we will be having a good honey year this year, and that is a good thing. AND with the rain we got today, it just gets us that much farther through the summer. This is a picture that Konrad took (I hope he doesn't mind me using it here) of frames that have had the honey extracted, but there is still a little bit of honey in them, but the bees will take care of that in a matter of about a half-hour. They clean the frames of honey and use it as food for themselves. Total recycling!
That is about it for tonight, more tomorrow.
Deeds, Actions, Changes, HONEY, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
