2015 - Day 189/176 - Wednesday...

There is a hay baling ballet going on out here on the edge of nowhere. Everywhere you look, someone is cutting, raking or baling. Pauline AND Hubert were out on the back thirty, Pauline was raking and Hubert was baling. From where I was on the road, I counted 16 bales. I am always happy when there is baling going on, it means that not only do we have we produced the most expensive hay for cattle to eat (and then shit leading to the methane challenges) but we have also harvested something from the land. Not tomatoes (Reba) but something. Hay, cattle and chickens, that is what we do. Short attention span things. It will be interesting to see how many round bales we get from this first cutting, and there is always hope for a second cutting.

Crazy busy day today, tomorrow and Friday will be similar. I will play catch-up on the weekend.

Deeds, Actions, Changes, BALES, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
