The first Justice to be fully vested as a member of the Supreme Court was James Wilson, who took his oath on October 5, 1789. Outside the Supreme Court was very quiet this morning, we got there at about 11 in the morning. We hung around a while, we were asked by an AP camera man if we wanted to be on the news, but we deferred. There were less than a dozen people that we thought were 'possible' protesters, but we aren't for sure. We tried our best to witness history, but alas, it was not meant to be. Then, we headed to the NAR Building, then to lunch, then to a little shopping, then back to the hotel for naps. We had a Regional Caucus at 4 in the afternoon, and then off to dinner somewhere else. It is odd that we have been in the District of Columbia and two different states this week, and we never really knew where we were at any given time. My last meeting is tomorrow (Board of Directors) is tomorrow at 8:30 in the morning. I should be happily home tomorrow evening about 10PM. This photo is Ben, Nancy, Melinda and Me. Enjoy!
