2010 - Day One Hundred Seventy Nine...

It looks sort of promising for some P O P (television meteorologist speak for 'possibility of precipitation), but I really do not think it is gonna happen. There is a 50% chance of rain for the next three days, not so much because of the forecasted hurricane brewing in the gulf, but more because of a stationary front that is coming at us from the northwest. Whatever...I will take any kind of rain we can get. Lots of the cornfields have suddenly turned brown and look very parched. We really need some rain so these guys can get their crops in this year, since last year was a bust as well.

It has come to my attention that our whole purpose in life here at JB Acres in central Texas, is to act as a conduit for wild life, or more accurately, creepy life. You cannot walk ten feet outside without running face first into a spiders nest, and those things are tenacious. AND, if you happen to get on the spider end of one of those things, you will do an interesting little dance as you flail your arms in the air trying to get all that stuff off of you. Alan Funt is really missing an opportunity here!

Busy day today, busy day tomorrow, and then maybe a little bit of breathing room beginning on Wednesday afternoon. I had calls for appointments today, and was trying to schedule appointments for the week of July 12th. Folks just do not understand that when you are over scheduled, it does no one any favors. I would rather do a few appointments well than do a bunch of appointments badly. Instant gratification is what is needed by ALL OF US!

Deeds, Actions, Changes, SPIDERS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
