Back home and glad to be able to say that. It was a lot of fun, but it is always nice to be home. There will be things to talk about and remember about this trip for a long time to come, but for now, I am glad to be back on land, even though it is windy like crazy here!
One of the biggest accomplishments of the trip was finding a pair of pink knock off crocs in an island gift shop outside Belize City. We had gone snorkeling that morning, and after snorkeling we were taken to a small island which serves no purpose at all other than to give tourists something to do for about two hours. On the island you can buy liquor, some food and lay by the beach (or in our case under a thatched roof hut to avoid the sun). You were previously also capable of buying a pair of Pink Knock Off Crocs on the island, but I took care of that and purchased the only pair they had. The mission continues!
