This morning at breakfast, Claire Shipman from ABC News was our speaker, and it was a pretty darned interesting speech. Lots of interesting insider tidbits about the administrations from Bill Clinton to George W to Barak. Fun stuff. Then at lunch, there was commentary by Professor Joseph J Ellis, whom I had never heard of before, but that is not saying anything. His Wikipedia entry says he is an American historian and professor whose work focuses on the lives and times of the founders of the United States of America and he is a best selling author. He was a very interesting person, and was spot-on with many of his remarks (in my opinion). He was in great demand for comments after the lunch. I ran into him sitting alone at a table in the airport and we had a nice chat, and I was allowed this 'selfie'. So there!I am home and happy to be here. Full day of meetings tomorrow and in the late afternoon our company will be having its Holiday Open House. Feel free to drop by if you are in the neighborhood!
