It was another relatively long day today. A couple meetings at the board, and the day ended with a really GREAT meeting at the Austin City Hall with testimony about Short Term Rentals and then a meeting with members of our Legislative Management Team and several 'recruits' for the Broker Involvement Program. It is important that our colleagues understand what our local, state and national associations do every day for our members and our clients. It was (IMHO) a really good meeting, and it is another piece of our advocacy puzzle coming together. Good work for all involved.Otherwise, I got a pretty good amount of work done in the office, and we actually got some rain in Austin this afternoon. A pretty good twenty to thirty minute downpour, but Jody says we got just about a trace out on the edge of nowhere.
Tomorrow is another day!
