2017 - Day 87/278 - Tuesday...

The girls are back producing again, not consistently, but better than before. We are getting at least one egg a day, sometimes as many as seven. This photograph was on a day that we got seven eggs (including this one). As with all species, there are overachievers, there are underachievers, and there are the just average. I can relate to all of them. I don't know a lot about the anatomy of a chicken, but any of these coming out of a hole in a chicken has gotta hurt. Maybe not. It is supposed to rain overnight, maybe after midnight and into the drive-time in the morning. Supposed to be pretty big, so we will just wait and see.
