2017 - Day 229/136 - Thursday...

This journal entry is dedicated to all my thousands of loyal followers with short attention spans. ATTENTION SPANS. SHORT ATTENTION SPANS. SQUIRREL! Jody and I were sitting out in the yard with the dogs this evening, and a relatively immature male cardinal came and joined us on the fence gate. The mockingbird is a pretty consistent presence, and we enjoy his overtures from the top of the Internet antenna. This squirrel (Jody has named him Earl) is a sometimes visitor, but he was not in the least bit bothered with us. He ran around on the roof of the house for a while, then he posed for photos at one of the roof peaks. We are not sure if this is the original Earl, or if it is an apprentice Earl, but we are calling him Earl. SQUIRREL! No Moose... Otherwise, it was another nice day on paradise. Meetings, paperwork, telephone calls, the usual stuff. Some days are more rewarding than others, but overall, my most recent recollections have not sucked. I am a lucky man, perhaps THE luckiest man in the world. Deeds, Actions, Changes, SQUIRRELS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
