2011 - Day Two Hundred Fifty Five; Monday...

Another day of excessive heat. This makes the 82nd day this year with temperatures over 100 degrees. We were supposed to be finished with high temperatures, but NO. AND it is supposed to be extra-hot the rest of this week. A very small chance of rain later this weekend, but I really do not expect it to happen. It seems the heat just cannot quit us! CRAP!

Another day of conventioning at the Texas Association of REALTORS annual convention, this year being held in Austin. I attended three really good classes today, and as always, there was a lot of visiting with colleagues and friends from around the State.

In between the education classes and leadership seminars, there was the trade show, with vendors of all sorts showing their wares. And to get folks to stop at their individual booths, you gotta have some gimmick or some bling. This booth was giving away pictures with the Blues Brothers, so that was pretty fun. This is a photo of my friend Cathy and me. FUN!

Tomorrow is another day, and pretty much my last day of attendance. It will end (for me) with an education luncheon, and then it will be on to work.

Deeds, Actions, Changes, BLUES BROTHERS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
