This photo of me is better than the one taken immediately after with my tongue hanging out. Thanks for taking the photo doren. It was REALTOR® day at the State Capitol and there were an estimated 2,000 of us from across the country. It was a pretty nice day for it, not too hot, not too cold, not raining but cloudy. TO give you an idea of the Texas extremes; in the panhandle today, it was 37 degrees, and it was 108 degrees in the valley. Weird. Many of our legislators were busy today, so we met mostly with their aides or other staff. Mark Strama did meet with us first thing this morning, and he made a very good presentation about spending caps, the rainy day fund, water issues and transportation. Interesting stuff...
It is supposed to rain overnight and some tomorrow up until mid day. Not supposed to make it much out of the 60's tomorrow, and the winds are supposed to shift from the north. Nothing extreme is expected I don't believe.
All the girls are doing well. The youngest girls have grown INCREDIBLY in just the last couple days. It seems like they have doubled in size, but they probably really haven't. It just kind of took me by surprise this afternoon when I went out to check on them. They are getting BIG!
Deeds, Actions, Changes, BIG CHICKS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
