2013 - Day 184/181 - Wednesday (but it's kind of like a Friday)...

Useless trivia for the day:  The Queen owns all dolphins, porpoises, and sturgeons in British waters.  What is she doing with all that stuff, and why does she need it?  Does she sew little tags on them, or hook a little thing on them that says 'IF FOUND, RETURN TO'?

Last night I hooked up with a dear and long time friend, Queen Wienke.  It has been too long, and I am so glad to hear from you.  Even the short e-mails were like we just saw each other a couple days ago.  Easy friendships are the best friendships...and I am lucky to have several of those!

Today is the 3rd of July, kind of like the bridesmaid of days if you think about it...everybody is glad that today is here, but all the emphasis is on tomorrow.  Jody and I have plans to go to a friends house and enjoy a little sun and camaraderie, then back to the house to chill.  I will be working on Friday, so there is no real opportunity for a long weekend.  BUT, that is not what this particular Holiday (or any of them for that matter) is all about.
