Eggs are placed in their cartons large end up (pointy side down) to keep the air cell in place and the yolk centered.
It is (right now) one minute until midnight, so technically I have not missed a post for Thursday, it just so happens that it is running into Friday.
I just got home from a preview screening of Superman: Man of Steel. It was not too heavy in the plot department, but it was pretty good in the special effects department and I would give it a C+ in the 3-D department. BUT, it was fun and all the folks had a good time. It was fun to see it at the IMAX, and to not have to wait in line and stuff like that. Prior to the screening, there were drinks and Frito Pies, who could ask for anything more than that? This is a picture that I took before the movie started, trying to get a reproduction of the iconic photo of 3-D movie goers from the 50's. Kind of cute.
