The Texas drought is the main culprit of our spring heat wave, maybe. More than half of Texas is in extreme drought conditions, and a quarter of the state is in exceptional drought. Fasten your seat belts, you are going to hear a lot about heat and drought over the next couple weeks, at least. Forecasts for the next seven days predict high temperatures anywhere from 101 to 104 degrees. It's hot! The mornings are pleasant, and there was a good breeze this morning, so we had a nice walk. This photo was taken this morning, the clouds with the sun coming through was very handsome, so I thought I would share it with you. I had some errands to run this morning, and I got in to the office about 10:30, did a bit of work, participated in a zoom call, did some more work, left for home about 2:15, met one of the guys that did the yard work earlier this year, and got four new plants put in the ground. A good day. Tomorrow and Wednesday should be relatively quiet days, but Thursday and Friday will be busy days. Overall, life is good, and I remain the lucky guy.
