We're having a heat wave. Is it a tropical heatwave? Have you got that song stuck in your head now? Heat waves, also called heatwaves, are periods of prolonged abnormally high surface temperatures relative to those you would normally expact. Heat waves can span several days or several weeks and are significant causes of weather-related mortality. affecting developed and developing countries alike. There are lots of disadvantaged folks in our area that cannot afford air conditioning, and they could use a fan. Do it now, you can come back to this journal entry after. My friend Cass painted these two pictures of the girls, and I think they are great. She dropped them off at my office this morning, and I am very proud of them.
