Volume 14 - Day 258/107, 2022 - Thursday

What is a nominating committee? The term nominating committee refers to a committee that acts as part of an organization's corporate governance. A nominating committee evaluates an organization's leadership (in this example), and examines the skills and characteristics required of the nominated candidates. Today was a long and very rewarding day. It began very early this morning and our PAC nominating committee worked until about 4:30 or 5, making the best decisions we could with the knowledge we had to move the very best Trustee candidates forward. It was long, but it was a terrific exercise, and I believe all members of the committee were at the top of their games, and took the responsibility very seriously. After that work, there were a couple other meetings to attend: A reception and then a dinner with TREPAC Major Investors. It is late, and it will be another early day tomorrow, and I am done for the day. The photo accompanying this entry represents or group at the end of the day. Done.
