This should come as no real surprise to anyone that follows or occasionally reads this journal, but I went to the Austin FC semi-final game tonight at the Q2 Stadium with my friends Nancy and Ben. This was the second time I had been at the facility, and it was a totally different experience to be sure. We could not have been on a higher row, because there were no higher rows to be had. Nancy has season passes to the Dallas team, and that team was in Austin tonight to see which team would advance. Austin won 2-1. It was fun watching the crowds, and it was fun watching the match. It might be fun to get season tickets for next year, but time will tell. Otherwise, it was a pretty good Sunday. There was a walk, brunch with Candy, Mike, Terry, Alisha and Reuben. Then a couple naps, a couple chores around the house, and then off to the soccer match. Overall, I think you should always go for the new experience!
