Volume 12 - Day 27/338, 2021 - Wednesday

I took the picture that is included with this journal entry about a week ago (at least), and when I was at the farm this afternoon, it was still blooming, but looking a little bit haggard. In the spring, there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of iris blooming at various places, plus lilies of various kinds, cannas, roses...too many different types of flora to think about now. But right now, everything (almost) has been hit with a few light and one pretty significant freezes. Much of the things are ready to be cut back, and that will be done in the next few weeks or so. I spent most of the day today standing up. Since COVID has been around, most of our meetings, local, statewide and national, have either beed cancelled or held virtually. There is a lot of up-front work that goes into virtual meetings, that is what a lot of us did today. Pre-taping segments for a four day meeting takes time, but in the end, it all comes together and looks GREAT! I am really glad that someone in production knows what they are doing!
