Yes. Yes it was actually. Yes, it was raining cats and dogs this afternoon. I left to go to the Williamson County Appraisal District office to file a protest this afternoon, just before 2 o'clock. I started raining really hard, but at lease there was no hail. If I had been the person trying to cross the street, this dog would have been in the stroller with the kid. For being as bewildered as the dog looks, it was not his/her choice to be stuck out in the rain, so I would have opted to be a little less self-controlled. I hope they made it to wherever they were going with no extra trouble. However, the way they are heading after they cross the street, is not where there are any houses or apartments. Maybe they are heading for a car to take them somewhere dry. Whatever. Not a bad Monday, I got in to the office about 10, made some phone calls, did some real estate stuff, drank some coffee. You know, the usual stuff. Right now, the sun is shining, but we are supposed to get more rain overnight, and there is a 50% chance or better for more rain through the weekend. They are predicting 7 to 10 inches, and there are always the chances for flash flooding if we get big rains like that all at once. AND whatever we get will travel south, so the Gulf Coast needs to be ready for the run off. Fingers crossed...
