Well, right this minute I am enjoying a lovely thunderstorm complete with lightning and pretty nice winds. All from the vantage point of my Hotel room in Dallas. Carrie and I just got back from the State Fair (where we delighted in observing everything imaginable that can be fried, not necessarily everything that SHOULD be fried). We never could find the fried Twinkies though.The day started kind of early this morning, down for breakfast at 7AM, class started at 8AM, lunch at noon, class completed at 3'ish, back in the room for a while, down to the bar at 4:30, off to the State Fair at 6:30.
Whew...
Tomorrow will be much of the same, but there is a structured dinner at 6PM, and it is always a very nice event, and I am looking forward to it. Stay tuned for photos.
